Registry Editing has been disabled by your administrator

When we can run the Register Edit (Regedit or Regedit.exe) It will displays the Error Message “Registry Editing has been disabled by your administrator”.

We can remove it by the Following methods:

Methode 1:

Copy and past the following code on the RUN in Start menu

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f


Methode 2:

Use the Group policy editor (Windows XP only)

  • Type gpedit.msc on Start Menu->RUN
  • Go to the following Path:

User Configuration/Administrative Templates/System

  • Double-click Disable registry editing tools and set it to Not Configured Or it the setting is set as Not Configured it can set as Enabled and click Apply and reset the Not Configured and click Ok.
  • Exit the Group Policy Editor

Hack by Godzilla

When we open the Internet Explore or any Site it will shows the Message “Hack by Godzilla”. There is no result when we can scan with antivirus software. It will manually remove by the following steps

  • First we can download the Processor explorer and run it . and delete or clone the “Wscript.exe” process.
  • Download the RRT.exe (Remove Reaction Tool) and run. By this we can enable which are disable services.
  • Type the command Regedit (or) Regedit.exe on Start->RUN it will open the Registry edit window and delete MS32DLL on following path

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Run and delete MS32DLL

  • Delete (or) rename the value which has its value of "Hacked by Godzilla" in following Path.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Main and delete "Window Title"

The Value name which we are named will show on the Internet Explorer Title in the place of Microsoft Internet Explorer. We can also change or replace by your name also.

Finally open the My Computer and click the Tools->Folder Options in Main Menu. And click the Advance settings and check the "Show Hidden files and folders" and uncheck the “Hide extensions for known file types”, “Hide protected operating system files” (Recommended). And Restart it will clear.

Task Manager has been Disabled by your Administrator

We are all well know about that when we click CTRL+Alt+Del buttons (OR) Right click on the task bar shows the Error message “Task has been Manager Disabled by your Administrator”. We can remove it by FOUR METHODS as fallows

Method 1:
Click the windows Start Menu->Run and copy and past the following code

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f


Method 2:
Open the new notepad past the following code and save it as file name/extinction EnableTM.reg

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00




Method 3:

  • *Click the windows Start Menu and click RUN and type Regedit or Regedit.exe and entire.
  • And it will displays the Register Edit window.
  • Navigate the follow

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies\ System

-on right side window delete the Value name DisableTaskMgr and close the Register edit window.


Method 4:
Using Group Policy Editor - for Windows XP Professional

* Click windows Start Menu->Run, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
* Navigate to this branch:

User Configuration / Administrative Templates / System / Ctrl+Alt+Delete Options / Remove Task Manage

* Double-click the Remove Task Manager option.
* Set the policy to Not Configured.
